After match fixings have recently made the headlines, Germany has decided to set up a “task force” to fight cheating in football, for the benefit of spectators and fans of sports betting. The company Sportradar received orders from the German Football Association to watch over the warning system it has established. The company will also take a role in controlling bets while being supported by over 150 people. This measure has been taken to clean up the sports area severely affected by this huge scandal but also to restore confidence in online betting. With the strengthening of security in this system, the football league and the German Football Association will reserve 300,000 euros each year for this system. However, its interventions must have international scope since this crime is not limited only in that country. Indeed, this match fixing scandal also affects Greece as UEFA has announced that 14 suspicious games are also mentioned in this country. The betting mafia in Asia is also suspected in this case.
